The development will bring 350 much-needed student studio apartments to the local market
The newly-approved Cardiff Student Village purpose-built student accommodation development is now preparing to begin construction, after receiving planning permission from the city’s Local Planning Authority last month.
Following the success of the enhanced planning application, the Mynachdy Road site will now welcome 350 student tenants across five purpose-built student accommodation blocks – increasing the number of units within the development, subject to an s106 agreement due for completion in the coming weeks.
The extension of the project comes after Cardiff City Council and the developer agreed to increase the size of the development, in order to cater for the student accommodation demand in the local area.
With the construction programme at Cardiff Student Village due to commence in the coming weeks, this excellent addition to Cardiff’s student sector is now well on its way to joining the market.
