The second stage of construction is set to begin in the next few weeks
Beginning earlier this month, the first stage of the plumbing and the electrics is currently being completed at West Bell Street, as new electric distribution supplies and energy meters have been installed in each apartment.
With the refurbishment of the windows now complete across approximately 85% of the building, and the painting of the exterior of the building’s front side windows now finished, painting works on the rear of the building are set to start this week.
The internal walls have been installed in nine of the 12 apartments and plastering has started in most of the units.
After being delivered last week, installation of a majority of the bathrooms has commenced across eight apartments, alongside the fitting of the boilers.
Work to install gas mains and gas meters has started and is set to complete by the end of this week.
As the building work is entering the second fix, the focus will now mainly be on the three bedroom apartments until the middle of July, until the work moves on to the two bedroom units.
Offering luxury and contemporary living in the heart of this Scottish city, West Bell Street is perfectly catered towards Dundee’s young professional and student populations.
With a range of modern three bedroom apartments priced at £154,950, the development provides potential purchasers with a unique opportunity to enter Scotland’s buy-to-let market.
