More than 75% of the scaffolding has now been removed at Kingfisher House, as work on the exterior of the building enters its final stages.
98% of the external cladding has now been installed around the building, with windows installed in 90% of these areas. The last remaining area to be completed on the exterior is the bump out area around the staircases in the building.
Internally, fit out has commenced with work progressing on the installation of the internal partitioning on all floors except level zero and level -1, which are currently required for site storage.
Level +7 is completely plastered and is ready for joinery installation. Showers are installed and shower walls are tiled.
The internal Mechanical & Electrical fit out is progressing and is generally some 90% complete electrically and there is similar progress with the mechanical installation.
Construction and plasterboard to the en-suite bathrooms is progressing down the building thereby allowing the installation of shower trays and the tiling of the walls to be ahead of general room construction.
The modern monochromatic design matches the state of the art, contemporary interior that will be offered to the student tenants at Kingfisher House when it completes in Q1 2017.
